Vox Urbane is a ground-breaking and unique professional vocal ensemble. Our mission is to represent marginalised voices through our line-up of artists of diversity - ethnicity, socio-economic, gender, and neuro-diverse.

We strive to represent the complex urban tapestry from which VU emerged. In order to tackle the stark lack of diversity in classical choral music, we are also fostering a new wave of talent - seeking out and nurturing outstanding singers of diversity for the future. We carry out this work on three fronts:

Our singers are first rate international artists from a diverse range of cultural backgrounds. Through our professional singers we seek to represent diversity in all of its forms. It is important to note that not all diversity is visible.
