Vox Next Gen applications
26/27

Vox Next Gen is a young artist programme for singers aged 21-24. It runs from September to August.

Over the course of a year, a series of weekend courses and performances based in the UK are led by key figures from our musical team. This culminates in a weeklong immersive course and concerts in the South of France.

Participants receive group tuition, individual mentoring and masterclasses run by industry experts, as well as industry networking opportunities. They will work alongside the Vox Urbane professionals, performing both with the main professional group and as a stand-alone ensemble.

This programme is fully funded programme, in order to ensure that there are no barriers to accessibility. After only 3 cohorts, Next Gen Alumni have already had much success, many are now working professionally for groups including the BBC Singers and Tenebrae, as soloists in the fields of pop and commercial music, as workshop-leaders and animateurs, and more broadly across the arts.

You will need to be available for on the following dates:

5-6th September 2026

16-18th January 2027

26-27th April 2027

20-27th August 2027

In person auditions will be held during the week of 30 March 2026.

In the first instance, please send us your CV and a short video / voice recording of a recent performance – this does not need to be a professional recording, one recorded on a phone is fine.

In addition to this, please let us know why you feel that the Vox Urbane mission speaks to you as a young artist.

You can submit your applications here.

DEADLINE 16TH MARCH 2026.

If you are shortlisted for an in-person audition, you will be required to sing two pieces: one item selected from the appropriate voice-part of the repertoire lists below. The second can be a piece of your own choice, or a second piece from the lists below. Please try to demonstrate that you are able to sing music from more than one historical period.
